The captain of the school chess team for the prize of the White Rook (union competition)
at 17 years he was team captain in field events. Mr. Pyryaev was invited to judge district tournaments, as well as municipal and provincial competitions. Last year he attended and was the secretary of the competitions under the auspices of "Vancouver Express“ and in may took part in the Vancouver Paul Keres Memorial.
